There are different events that you can be involved in within the Car Club: MOTORKHANAS, AUTOCROSSES, HILLCLIMBS, SPRINTS You can start out marshalling or helping at any club event. Marshalling is being in control at a particular point at an event, you have to listen to the radios and be a wear of what car is where on the road. This means you get to see the action up close as well as helping. Helping at an event can include: setting up at the beginning of the day, taking entries for the day, timing at start and finish lines. Slowly upskill youself with on the job coaching and you could become an organiser. Volunteer organisers are essential to any event and club and there can be just as much a sense of achievement at being part of a successful event organisation team as there can be from being in the actual winner’s team.
